Of all the Colorado state publications, our state constitution reigns supreme. After 140 years of amendments, conventions, and change, it is interesting to look back at the original state constitution as drafted in 1876. Recently the Colorado State Archives digitized the original — handwritten — 1876 constitution, and it available in its entirety for viewing online, along with a brief history.
