Just launched: the USA 250 & Colorado 150 kits! These travelling pop-up exhibits contain fascinating reproductions, a wealth of written and visual material, printing activities, games/past times from bygone eras, and more. Some of the books correspond to book club sets of eight.
The kit/exhibit shown above contains enough material that it can be easily customized for a range of audiences, whether you’re looking for a fun, accessible way to celebrate, or more intensive discussions and activities to commemorate the two important anniversaries: Colorado’s sesquisemiquincentennial on August 1st and the USA’s semiquincentennial on July 4th.
The kits will remain in circulation, so don’t worry if your library isn’t one of the first to borrow it, there will be plenty of opportunity! For the rest of 2026, the loan period for these travelling exhibits is four weeks, and the kits will also include the self contained Colorado Archeology kit. Find out more!

Also recently launched are the memory/dementia kits. These are jam packed with puzzles, hands-on activities, books and tactile items for learning all about dementia (and libraries’ response to it) or hosting a dedicated event or program. Check them out!

I also wanted to mention two simple kits for inspiring library users: the unique art books kits (abstract art and photography) thanks to the amazing (free to libraries) Art Resources Transfer program, and the fun magnetic activities kit. In the coming months, I will be working on some new kits/mini collections, so stay tuned.
Finally, the book club resource just surpassed 1400 book club sets, with a bunch more new additions to come in the near future.
As always, please reach out with any questions.
