Last year was a banner year for the Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection (CHNC)! This digital collection currently includes 100% free access to more than 7.5 million digitized pages from over 945 individual newspaper titles published in Colorado from 1859 to 2025.
This year’s Fast Facts includes statistics on partners, languages, page views, top users by states, most popular titles, and more! For example, CHNC continues to grow at an amazing rate with nearly 2.4 million pages added in 2025 alone (that’s around 2 MILLION more pages than were added in 2024), and the site received 1.2 million more page views than the previous year.
