Ignacio Community Library welcomes guest presenter Grace Robertson for Natural Settings for Great Candid Photos on November 13 at 4:00 pm. The class will cover some basic photography tips for lighting and composition that will help you capture the best photos possible.

Delta County Libraries welcomes Justine Zafran for Communicating with Animals on November 8 at Paonia Library. She will discuss the mechanics and practical uses of animal communication, and share her personal stories as an animal communicator and researcher.

La Veta Public Library is offering Relationship Intelligence with Dr. David W. Zierk, PsyD on November 13 at 2:00 pm. Learn about how to handle life’s trickiest moments, and turn conflict into connection.

Estes Valley Library invites kids and teens to Spice Science, an exploration of spices from around the world, on November 12. Learn how spices changed history, experience different spices through scientific observation, and learn why chili peppers can be so hot.

Arapahoe Libraries welcomes entries for Geek Out: A Creative Contest for Teens from November 1-30. Showcase your favorite fandom through creative mediums like video, song, poetry, cosplay, fan art, and more!

Aurora Public Library is hosting an all-ages Rock Tumbling class on November 12 at Tallyn’s Reach Library. Every other Wednesday, participants will learn how to tumble rocks and watch the batches as they progress through the tumbling cycle all the way to gems.

Anythink Wright Farms is hosting Weaving in Winter: Make Your Own Loom on November 11 at 4:30 pm. Participants will leave with a portable mini-loom, a DIY-woven piece, and resources to continue creating.

High Plains Library District is hosting Market Day! Youth Biz Academy for Young Entrepreneurs on November 8 at Carbon Valley Regional Library. Drop by to buy handcrafted gifts and support youth entrepreneurs’ small businesses.

Mancos Public Library is hosting a Holiday Toy Swap on November 13 and 14. Adults are invited to bring in up to 1 box of clean toys in good condition to trade them for new-to-you toys. Wrapping supply donations are also welcome.

Mesa County Libraries’ Culture Fest 2025 is November 8 at Central Library. At this 18th annual event, you’ll learn about cultures represented in the Grand Valley via performances, tables, and cultural beauty from around the world.
