Celebration Time
Bemis Public Library is celebrating World Children’s Day on November 23 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Celebrate children around the world with music, dance, arts, crafts and treats scheduled throughout the day. Create your personal passport then collect stamps in it as you visit other locations around the library and participate in various activities throughout the day.
Aurora Public Library invites you to shop local and regional vendors at their Merry Makers Market on December 3 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Central Library. Afterwards, head over to the Aurora Municipal Campus Great Lawn for Holiday Tree Lighting from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
Lyons Community Library is hosting A Teen Thanksgiving on November 15 at 6:00 pm. Celebrate with holiday movies, seasonal foods, and a thankfulness tree.
Join the Club
Do you want to tackle unsolved mysteries that have stumped the experts? Garfield County Libraries invites you to join Silt’s Unsolved Sleuths and become part of a community of investigators and puzzle solvers. Their next meeting is November 19, 6:00 pm, at Silt Branch Library.
Tackle your procrastination habit with Wilkinson Public Library’s Get Stuff Done Club, which meets every first and third Saturday. Get support and learn about tools for taking on overdue bills, tough conversations, and other stuff you’d rather not do. Their next meeting is November 16 at 10:00 am.
Delta County Libraries hosts the Digging Your Roots Genealogy Group the fourth Friday of every month at Cedaredge Library. Join their next meeting on November 22 at 10:30 am.
Pick ‘n’ Mix
High Plains Library District challenges you to test your knowledge at Random Fandom: 80’s Trivia, November 15 at Carbon Valley Regional Library. Bring your team for a totally tubular time with 80’s music and food.
Jefferson County Public Library invites you to discover The Art of Thriller Writing with Carter Wilson on November 16 at Standley Lake Library. The award winning author will share invaluable tips and techniques to elevate your storytelling.
Join Silverton Public Library for a creative and inspiring Vision Board Workshop on November 21 at 4:00 pm. You’ll get a start on the New Year by exploring goals, setting intentions, and crafting visual reminders of what you hope to accomplish in 2025.
