Jefferson County Public Library is hosting an all-ages Tabletop Games Celebration on June 29 at Standley Lake Library. A variety of board games and card games will be available to play.

Gunnison County Libraries announces their first annual Adult Spelling Bee on June 27 at 6:00 pm. Register to compete as an individual or a representative from your workplace or other organization.

Alamosa Public Library hosts Chess Training for Kids with Coach Tony the first Thursday of every month. Join them for some friendly competition at their next meeting on July 3.

Bemis Public Library invites teens to play Minute-To-Win-It Games on July 2. Test your skills with a series of 60-second challenges using everyday household items.

Pueblo City-County Library District hosts Pinochle twice a month at Greenhorn Valley Library. Come play a hand of this classic card game at the next meeting on July 1 at 5:00 pm.

Estes Valley Library invites you to Color Our World with Skittle Art on July 1 at 2:00 pm. Get creative and enjoy a tasty treat using Skittles to make a variety of different art that you can eat.

High Plains Library District welcomes tweens and teens to Gotta Color ‘Em All: Pokémon Party on July 2 at LINC. Celebrate your love of Pokémon through exciting crafts, games, and activities.

Poudre Libraries welcomes kids to the Wonderful World of Weaving on July 3 at Harmony Library. Learn to create colorful woven bowls, bookmarks, and other cool fiber art.

Summit County Library is hosting a Branch Weaving Workshop on June 28 at South Branch Library. Lori Whipple from Wonderforest will show participants how to create unique, woven art from natural branches and colorful yarn.

Pick ‘n’ Mix

Learn what to do When Lightning Strikes! Durango Public Library welcomes Dr. Tiffany L. Brainerd, wilderness medicine doctor, for this presentation on July 2 at 6:00 pm.

Garfield County Libraries will host the Pauline S. Schneegas Wildlife Foundation for Predator Proofing and Coexisting with Wild Life, July 30 at the Rifle Branch. Their presentation will include strategies for predator-proofing chicken coops.

Spanish Peaks Library’s Kite Festival is June 30, 10:00 am, at the Huerfano Community Center Field. Bring your own kite or get a free one courtesy of the Walsenburg Craft Emporium.

It’s Christmas in July at Pines & Plains Libraries. Join them on July 2 at Elizabeth Library for holiday baking and festive crafting.
