Party Time

Loveland Public Library is celebrating 3D printing in Loveland with a 3D Printer Birthday Party on June 26. Participants will learn how 3D printers work and enjoy birthday cake, snacks, games, and prizes.
Join High Plains Library District in celebrating their community’s newest citizens at the 13th Annual Greeley Naturalization Ceremony on June 29 at the Centennial Village Museum. The event features local performers, speakers, and partner organizations.
Bemis Public Library is throwing a T-Rex Tea Party on July 9 for kids in grades 1-5. Get dressed up and sip iced tea with a giant T-Rex friend.
Wilkinson Public Library’s Community Fiesta is June 27 at Telluride Town Park. Celebrate immigrant heritage month with free food, free outdoor gear, music, and more.
Security Public Library is celebrating their 65th Anniversary on June 27 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Join them for food, games, prizes, and more! The first 65 people will receive free hot dogs and popsicles.
Jefferson County Public Library is hosting polka maestro Mike Schneider for a Polka Concert at Little Bear Saloon in Evergreen on June 27 at 12:00 pm. Enjoy an hour of boisterous fun while learning about the cultural impact of polka music along the way.
Always Learning
Broomfield Library’s next Sew Social event will be a Plushie Repair Clinic. On July 8, bring in a plushie or stuffed animal that needs repair and learn how to mend it.
Mesa County Libraries is offering Historic Newspapers 101 on July 9 at the Central Library. Learn about ways to find newspaper articles going back to 1893.
Make a Papyrus Scroll at Pitkin County Library on June 27. Learn about ancient paper and scrolls and make your own scroll using real papyrus.
Anythink Huron Street is offering Beekeeping for Beginners on June 27. This drop-in program will include hands-on stations to explore beekeeping tools, observe real hive components, and learn about supporting pollinators.
America 250 – Colorado 150 Celebrations

Clearview Library District welcomes their community to two upcoming 250-150 events. Join them at the Windsor History Museum for Platform to the Past, an immersive tour of the 1883 Train Depot, on June 26 at 11:00 am. Then at 3:00 pm, they will screen Ken Burns’ The American Revolution at Windsor Library.
Southwest La Plata Library District invites you to craft your own Colorado origin story at their 3-part Storytelling Workshop Series starting June 30 at Sunnyside Library. The series includes two writing workshops and a showcase for participants to share their stories with an audience.
Pueblo City-County Library District will host Declaration Book Club: A three part series in celebration of America’s 250th Birthday beginning July 2 at Giodone Library. Participants will read and discuss Thomas Jefferson’s writing of the Declaration of Independence.
This July, the Eagle Valley Library District will host three Heritage Nights across the district, including July 14 at Gypsum Public Library and July 16 at Avon Public Library. This edutainment event is for all ages and will include historical crafts and games, a historic image scavenger hunt, and a teen art collage challenge, both featuring historic photos from their archive, as well as educational kits from History Colorado, and more!
