In a Festive Mood

Alamosa Public Library is hosting an Opening Reception for the San Luis Valley Quilt Guild Show on August 23 at 11:00 am. A number of new and vintage quilts will be on display at the library from August 19 through September 6.

Bud Werner Memorial Library is opening the 14th annual Yampa Valley Crane Festival with Crane Fest Kids’ Night on August 26 at 5:00 pm. Join them for an evening of film, storytelling, games, and coloring contest awards.

Longmont Public Library invites families to Celebrate Grandparents’ Day on August 23 at the Sandstone Ranch Visitors Center. Join Ms. Lili for a fun day full of singing, dancing, crafts and more.

Pitkin County Library is celebrating the first After School Wednesday of the season with a Back to School Breakfast Party on August 27. School aged children are welcome to enjoy some yummy breakfast snacks.

Nederland Community Library is hosting a Back-to-School Bingo + Pizza Night on August 27. Win books and school supplies at this all-ages event.

Aurora Public Library invites tweens and teens to Blindfold Cupcakes on August 28 at Martin Luther King, Jr. Library. Bring some friends and attempt to decorate cupcakes blindfolded!

Fort Morgan Public Library announces the first annual Library and Museum Trivia Night on August 30 at 4:30 pm. Bring a friend or gather a team to test your knowledge of Fort Morgan history, books, movies and more.

Garfield County Libraries invites dogs and dog lovers to celebrate the Dog Days of Summer on August 24 at Carbondale Library. Enjoy a day of dog-themed events: storytime, doggie play time, pup cups, photo booth, raffle, and more.

Pueblo City-County Library District is hosting a Godzill-A-Thon on August 23 at Giodone Library. Watch a Godzilla movie, play King of Tokyo, make monster crafts, and enjoy snacks to celebrate Godzilla fandom.
