Check out the inaugural edition of SWIFT Fast Facts by Library Research Service at LRS.org!
SWIFT is a service of the Colorado State Library that supports statewide Interlibrary Loan (ILL) for more than one hundred and thirty public, academic, special and correctional libraries. It allows staff and/or patrons to search for and borrow materials located in other libraries throughout the state of Colorado. SWIFT has been around since 2000, but began migrating to the INN-Reach platform to join the (state-wide) Prospector network in 2020. This edition of SWIFT Fast Facts tells the story of the migration project from 2020 to today, tracks borrowing and lending trends, explores the types of communities served by SWIFT, and highlights SWIFT libraries’ contributions back to the Prospector community.
