9th annual Kiwanis Stars of Tomorrow show

Bud Werner Memorial Library is hosting a Book Tasting, where school age children can sample the fare from different book genres. The event will be held March 3 from 3:00 to 4:00 pm; no registration required.

Spend the whole day celebrating Dr. Seuss with Estes Valley Library. On March 2 they will host a variety of Seuss-themed events, including storytime, read to a therapy dog, face painting, and other crafts. Visit their calendar for all the details.

Southwest La Plata Library District is throwing a Dr. Seuss Birthday Party on March 2 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Fort Lewis Mesa Public Library. Join them for a movie, craft, and birthday treat.

Pikes Peak Library District invites families to their Kindergarten Round-Up Resource Fair on March 2 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Library 21c. This is an opportunity to ask questions, explore enrollment options, and prepare children for school.

Who says that dancing has to be graceful? The staff at Pueblo City-County Library District’s Giodone Library invite you to Line Dancing: Come get awkward with us on March 8 at 10:30 am.

Fort Morgan Museum invites you to experience a real high tea at their Gilded Age Tea event on March 1 from 2:30 to 4:00 pm in the Don Ostwald East Upper Gallery. The event will also feature a presentation by historian Dr. Rebecca Hunt.

Ouray Library District is offering a Film Workshop on February 9 from 12:00 to 3:00 pm. Contact the library for details and registration info.

Ruby M. Sisson Memorial Library seeks submissions for their Cardboard Construct-a-thon, due by March 29. Projects must be made entirely of cardboard and approved fasteners. Prizes will be awarded in five age categories.

High Plains Library District is celebrating the Grand Re-Opening of the Centennial Park Branch on March 1 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Drop by to check out the newly remodeled spaces, including the children’s area, reading corner, fireplace, and makerspace.

Aurora Public Library invites you to test your movie knowledge at Oscar Awards Trivia, March 9 at Mission Viejo Library. It’s an afternoon of fun for the whole family.

All are welcome to attend Garfield County Libraries’ free Art in the Stacks Artist Reception for Ann L. Ramsey on March 8, 2:00 pm at Rifle Branch Library. Her photography will be on display at the library through the end of March.
