InnEdCO 2019  – It’s Going To Be, Wait For It…EPIC!

InnEdCO announces Gitanjali Rao as a keynote speaker. She is 13 years old and is an 8th grader at STEM School Highlands Ranch in Highlands Ranch, CO. She was named America’s Top Young Scientist of 2017 by the Discovery Education 3M Young Scientist Challenge, with a patent-pending device to detect lead in water faster than any other current techniques.

Denver Pop Culture CON 2019

Applications for Free Educator’s Day at DPCC 2019 are now open!  Denver Pop Culture Con is a 3-day, family-friendly pop culture event of the Colorado nonprofit Pop Culture Classroom, whose mission is to inspire a love of learning, to increase literacy, celebrate diversity and build community through pop culture education. “Beyond participating in the most fun and entertaining event of the summer, educators will have powerful opportunities to share ideas, build new skills, and discover how to successfully implement pop culture-based education in their classrooms and schools.” And all for free!

Digital Literacy Instructional Specialist at Colorado Department of Education
Christine Schein is a Digital Literacy Instructional Specialist with the Colorado Department of Education. She has a Masters degree in Education with an emphasis in Information Technology and School Library Media. Although her undergraduate degree is in Sociology/Criminal Justice and her work experience spans various business fields, her real passion is students and their future as responsible citizens in the world. She has presented at numerous conferences including ISTE, AASL, CoSN, CASE, and InnEdCo. Christine also has CoSN’s CETL certification.
