The Colorado State Library, is partnering with Pat Wagner from Pattern Research, Inc., to offer our Curious about Library Supervision two-part webinar series: a practical introduction to the job of a library supervisor.
Topics include why being a supervisor is different even for experienced library personnel, positive reinforcement, coaching, oversight versus micromanagement, course correction, the challenges and rewards, and how to prepare to apply for a supervisory position for the first time.Registration is open to any library employee. However, our focus are Colorado library personnel who are pursuing a position as a supervisor or manager for the first time. The webinars will be recorded and made available.
Facilitator Pat Wagner has been a library trainer and consultant since 1978. She is known for her good-humored and practical programs.
